We’ve recently done extensive renovations to our home and are looking for someone with a fantastic eye for interior styling to help us bring everything together. This is not an interior design or renovation project. The house is complete—we’re looking for someone to help create a cohesive, warm, high-end look throughout our home. Our home has a modern, warm, luxury feel with natural textures and quality finishes. We love timeless interiors that feel inviting, sophisticated and functional. We’re not looking to simply fill spaces—we’re looking for someone who can help create a home that feels thoughtfully styled and cohesive throughout. I’ll provide: * Photos of every room * Floor plans * Inspiration photos (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) * The overall style and vibe we’re trying to achieve. We already have the majority of our furniture, however we’re more than happy to purchase additional pieces if needed to achieve the overall look. We’re looking for someone who can work with what we have, recommend what should stay or go, and suggest any new furniture or styling pieces that would elevate the space. We’re looking for advice on: * Furniture layout and placement * Furniture recommendations * Rugs * Artwork * Lamps and lighting * Decorative accessories * Placement of family photos * Styling shelves, cabinetry and surfaces * Indoor plants * Window furnishings (if required) * Overall flow and cohesion throughout the home * Recommendations on specific furniture and décor available in Australia This can be completed remotely or in person if you’re based on the Sunshine Coast. Please send through examples of homes you’ve styled, a portfolio of your work, or photos of previous projects. We’re looking for someone who’s happy to collaborate with us, understands our vision, and isn’t afraid to suggest ideas we may not have considered. We are looking for an experienced interior designer or architectural designer to assist with the concept design optimisation of a 4 townhouse development in Ormond, Victoria, Australia. The project already has existing drawings and a previous town planning design. We are now looking to modernise and improve the design before revised drawings are prepared for a new town planning application. The main focus is on layout refinement, façade improvement, external materiality and concept-level design direction. We are not looking for full town planning documentation or building permit drawings, as these will be prepared by our draftsperson/building designer. The project involves: - reviewing the existing townhouse drawings and our marked-up design brief; - optimising the internal layout, with Unit 1 being the main focus; reviewing Units 2, 3 and 4 at a more limited level; - improving the street frontage and façade so the development feels modern, warm, premium and timeless; - developing a look-and-feel / mood board for external finishes and materiality; - considering covered entries, alfresco areas, rear yards and private open spaces; - providing concept-level design input for the Unit 1 master bedroom, dressing area and ensuite relationship; - preparing sufficient 3D views or concept visuals so we can properly understand and approve the design; - providing clear mark-ups, sketches, notes and a short handover brief that our draftsperson can rely on when updating the drawings. We would like someone who has experience with townhouse design, residential developments, façade design, spatial planning and practical family-friendly interiors. Experience with Melbourne residential projects would be preferred. Hello, I would like some help decorating the lower level of my home, I’m very busy and don’t have the time to find specific items to fit the style I like. I would like a certain style and I would like for us to work back and forth together to agree on the style and for you then to find where I could find the pieces online or at physical stores, with links, and at least a few options for pricing. If this works out then we can work on the entire home together. I need an interior designer to design my living room. Currently, there is only a white marble countertop for the kitchen. There is no other furnitures as i am moving in unfurnished and the furnitures in the pictures are just from the showroom. I am looking for a mid century design that could fit some of the trendy decors/lounge chairs. Also need advice on tv counter top, sofa, dining table, and other furnitures for living room. Preferably if you could 3d model the room and furnitures, so i could see how it would look like and how everything comes together.

I have new lounges and need help picking a rug. I don’t want to change any of the large furniture but I want to elevate the space. Keeping in mind I have a baby so I don’t want knick knacks and hazards but I hate how flat it all looks currently and i think its because of the rug. I love the modern moody chocolate deep brown trends happening now but unsure it would suit my space and existing pieces. Please give me your honest opinion on rug choices, examples online and any other advice about my living dining area. Fyi the lounges are the Aretha fabric from Amart in Oyster. Also, I currently don’t have a coffee table so open to suggestions for that, needs to be baby friendly. If you can mock it up, even better.

Hi, I need a qualified hydraulic designer to review and amend existing hydraulic drawings for a project in QLD. The drawings have already been completed, but some parts need to be changed based on the actual equipment, drainage requirements and wastewater treatment requirements. The project involves wastewater/trade waste, and the amended drawings may need to be submitted to the relevant trade waste / wastewater treatment department for approval. You must have relevant Queensland qualifications/licence and experience with commercial hydraulic design.

Looking for an experienced building designer / draftsman to advise and prepare concept plans for a possible granny flat, extension, or ancillary living space on a rural property at Aratula QLD, Scenic Rim Council area. The goal is a basic, good-value family living space with privacy and separation from the existing Dixon home, without overcapitalising or triggering unnecessary DA/council complications if avoidable. We are considering: * granny-flat-style detached option; * renovation or extension to the existing house; * attached or breezeway-connected option; * suitable off-the-shelf plans if they can be adapted. Preferred requirements: * two bedrooms, same/similar size, each suitable for a queen bed; * one bathroom with bathtub; * open living/kitchen/dining area; * good living space for modern use, including gaming/TV; * open feel but with ability for some privacy/time out; * simple practical finishes, not luxury. Need guidance on: * best approval pathway under Scenic Rim Council rules; * avoiding a “second dwelling” issue if that triggers DA; * whether 60 m² applies and what is included in that size; * whether verandah/carport count; * septic, water, stormwater, power and access considerations; * concept drawings and likely next steps for building approval. Builder has suggested possible cost range of $150k–$250k and may be available around September/October, so we are looking to move the design pathway forward. Please respond with: * your relevant experience; * whether you have worked with Scenic Rim Council or rural QLD properties; * what your initial consultation/concept plan fee would be; * what is included and excluded; * whether you can prepare drawings suitable for building approval or only concept plans.
