I have a 2 bedroom plus study apartment I've lived in for 15 years. The interior 'design' is a bit arbitrary and stale. I'd like to refresh it, so seeking some inspiration. I imagine choosing a designer based on samples of previous work, then an initial assignment to develop some ideas, with a possible further assignment to refine ideas, source elements and, if local, oversee work. I require professional drafting services for a new front boundary fence at my residential property in Ringwood. The drawings need to be detailed enough for both the chosen fencing company to build from and for submission to the local Maroondah City Council to obtain the necessary planning and building permits. Project Scope: The fence will be a classic white picket fence style. Front Boundary: Approx. 12 meters total. Driveway Side: Approx. 9 meters down one side of the driveway (along the boundary line). Style: White timber picket fence (exact details to be discussed). 2 gates. Deliverables Required: Site Plan: A simple plan showing the location and dimensions of the proposed fence relative to the house and boundaries. Elevation Drawings: Detailed drawings showing height, materials, picket spacing, post details, and overall design aesthetic. (Must meet council height/design requirements). Cross-Section Details: Basic construction details the builder can follow. Important Requirements: Experienced Draftsman/Building Designer: The person completing this task must be a registered Building Practitioner with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) or work under someone who is registered. The final drawings must be signed off with a VBA registration number for the building permit application to be valid. Local Council Knowledge: Familiarity with the Maroondah City Council planning and building regulations is highly desirable. Professionalism: Clear communication and quick turnaround times are appreciated.
