Hi, I’m looking for an experienced retail / commercial interior designer to prepare a fitout plan document for my small business. I have an attached example document that shows the exact format, structure, and level of detail I’m after (used previously for landlord / centre approval). I need a similar document prepared for my tenancy, tailored to my layout and business needs. Hi, We are looking for an experienced interior designer to assist us through our first home build journey. The project is a 600+ sqm custom home planned for Springfield, Brisbane. We are at the design/build coordination stage and need a designer who can guide us end-to-end, working alongside our builder and helping us make informed decisions on both aesthetics and practicality. Scope of Work (Indicative) Interior design direction and concept development Space planning and layout guidance Material and finish selection (flooring, stone, cabinetry, fixtures, etc.) Lighting design assistance (including chandeliers and feature lighting) Furniture and soft furnishings guidance Coordination with builder and consultants as required. Our builder is open to travelling to China with us to source high end items such as Cabinetry, Furniture, Chandeliers and lighting, Stone and surfaces, Windows and other materials, so experience with overseas sourcing (especially China) or managing imported materials would be a strong advantage, though not mandatory. Hi! I’m renovating the kitchen and adjacent dining area of my house (Federation house in Ashfield, Sydney). The kitchen is small - approx 2.6 m × 5 m - and opens to a slightly lower dining area 2.9 m x 4 m (20 cm step down). The area has a fairly steep sloping ceiling (3 m → 2.1 m) with ceiling plaster mouldings over the kitchen space. I have a builder/kitchen designer who will do the technical drawings and build, but I need aesthetic and design direction so the space feels cohesive with the traditional style of the home while being fresh and slightly modern. What I need help with: • Kitchen layout aesthetic advice (not structural — builder handles technical) • Cabinetry style, proportions and recommended materials/colours • Benchtop material and colour suggestions • Splashback style and finish (same as benchtop or tiled) • Hardware (handles, finishes) and lighting recommendations • How the kitchen design flows into the dining space Deliverables: • Mood board and colour/material palette • Clear selection recommendations (cabinet style, benchtop, splashback, lighting) • Advice on finishes that suit a Federation house and small space • A list of recommended products/materials with links/samples Requirements: • Experience with kitchen design, ideally for older/period homes • Portfolio examples of previous work • We will coordinate with our builder/designer — you do not need to produce working plans Location: Ashfield NSW 2131.
