I require a licensed Victorian plumber specialising in leak detection and water damage investigations to inspect an ensuite bathroom and provide a detailed written report for an AAMI home insurance claim. Background: A recent professional assessment identified extensive water seepage behind shower tiles, deterioration of wall and floor substrates, and loose tiles. Significant shower reconstruction has been recommended. A routine real estate inspection in April 2026 reported no visible damage, mould or moisture. The tenants had not reported any leakage. Scope of Work: 1. Leak Detection: Investigate water supply pipes, drainage, shower fittings and potential waterproofing failures to identify the source of leakage. 2. Damage Assessment: Inspect affected walls, flooring and surrounding areas. Conduct moisture testing and document damage. 3. Concealed Damage: Assess whether the leakage was hidden behind tiles or walls and whether warning signs would reasonably have been visible during routine inspections. 4. Cause & Duration: Determine the likely cause and, where evidence permits, estimate how long the leakage may have occurred. 5. Repair Recommendations: Identify necessary repairs and whether shower reconstruction is required. Required Written Report: • Plumber's name, Victorian licence number and ABN. • Tests performed, findings and results. • Identified or suspected cause of leakage. • Photographs and moisture readings. • Assessment of concealed damage. • Recommended repairs and any investigation limitations. Important: This is an independent technical investigation for insurance purposes, not simply a repair quotation. Please confirm your fixed price (including GST), availability, experience preparing insurance reports and report delivery timeframe. No destructive investigation without prior approval.

We’re preparing our house for sale and need a couple of minor plumbing issues fixed. 1. Bathroom basin taps: Both the hot and cold taps leak around the handles when turned on. Water pools underneath the handles. 2. Shower: The hot tap makes a loud revving/vibrating noise when first turned on. The noise stops after turning the tap further and/or turning on the cold tap. We’re looking for a straightforward, cost-effective repair rather than a bathroom renovation or full tap replacement, if possible. Please include: -Diagnosis and repair of both issues in one visit. -Replacement of washers, O-rings or other minor components if required. -Labour and standard parts in your quote.

The toilet is slightly blocked and the water is draining slowly. It may be caused by too much toilet paper being flushed at once. Water still drains, just much slower than normal. It seems like a minor blockage. Looking for someone to unblock it quickly, preferably today. Please bring your own tools.

Hi! 😊 I’m looking for someone experienced to help clear my bathroom drain. The water is draining very slowly, and there’s a knife stuck inside the pipe that needs to be removed. You’ll need the right tools to safely remove the knife and clear the blockage without damaging the pipes. Please let me know your availability and price. Thanks!
