Mitsubishi 4G64 Cylinder Head – Testing & Valve Repair Location: Caboolture / Morayfield, QLD Looking for an experienced engine machinist or mechanic to inspect and recondition a Mitsubishi 4G64 cylinder head. I’m removing the head myself and can arrange to drop it off. Work required: * Pressure test cylinder head for cracks or leaks. * Check head for warping. * Inspect exhaust valves. * One suspected faulty exhaust valve needs testing. * Recondition or replace the exhaust valve if necessary. * Check and repair valve seat if required. * Head skim only if necessary. Important: I’m not automatically looking for a full rebuild. I want the head properly tested first and only the necessary work completed. Please quote separately for testing, valve repair/replacement and machining. Looking for someone experienced with Mitsubishi 4G64 engines who can offer reasonable pricing. Happy to consider a qualified mobile mechanic, engine machinist or experienced engine reconditioner. Please include your experience, availability and estimated total cost.

Need someone experienced with car audio to diagnose and fix the speaker setup in my Isuzu D-Max. The Pioneer head unit connects to Bluetooth and plays music, and the Pioneer amplifier has power with a solid blue light. At the moment, sound is only coming through one passenger-side speaker and the audio keeps cutting in and out every second. There also appear to be some damaged/broken RCA connections at the amplifier that may need to be removed and repaired or replaced. Looking for someone who knows car stereo wiring, amps and speakers and can get the whole system working properly again. 04.100.63.236

Looking for someone to install a reversing camera – Labrador, Gold Coast I’ve recently installed a new 9-inch Android CarPlay head unit in my 2011 Hyundai i30 hatchback. The reversing camera came with the unit, and I have the camera and wiring ready to go. I just need someone experienced with car electronics to mount and connect the camera, run the cable neatly from the rear of the car to the head unit (concealed behind the interior trim) and ensure it activates when reverse gear is selected. The CarPlay unit is already installed and working, so I’m not looking for a full stereo installation. Ideally someone local who has done this before.😊

I’m looking for an experienced auto electrician or mechanic familiar with Nissan Navara D40s to repair an intermittent electrical issue. The vehicle has already been inspected by an auto electrician. Fault: The dashboard intermittently turns on and off, with key in ignition, while idling and while driving. Headlights, indicators, hazards all continue to operate. Further testing found that the ignition switch wire/circuit is unstable and intermittently failing, which may be causing the dashboard to switch on and off. The auto electrician has recommended starting with replacement of the ignition switch and then retesting the vehicle. Power, accessory and earth circuits to the existing head unit have already been tested and were within specification. Job required: - Replace/repair the faulty ignition switch or ignition switch electrical component/circuit as required. - Check the associated ignition wiring and connections. - Retest the dashboard after repair to confirm the intermittent fault has been resolved. - Prefer someone experienced with Nissan Navara D40 electrical faults. I can provide the auto electrician’s diagnostic report. Budget is up to $600 depending on parts and work required.
