Looking for someone to sand and polish the timber floors in my hallway, entry, study and living room. Total area is approximately 55 to 60 m². Floor plan and photos attached. The floors are solid hardwood floorboards (possibly Tasmanian Oak or a similar Australian hardwood). They have general wear, light scratches and a dull finish in high traffic areas. I want the floors to really shine and look close to new, with a gloss or semi-gloss finish.

We have 4 carpeted stairs that our cat has clawed through at the front edges. We want to replace the carpet with timber treads to match the existing open hardwood staircase they connect to (I think jarrah or merbau). Photos attached. What I'm after: - Solid hardwood, or engineered boards with a thick real-hardwood top layer. No laminate or hybrid. - New timber and finish matched as closely as possible to the existing stairs - Step heights kept consistent, especially the top and bottom steps, once the carpet is removed and timber added - Anti-slip grooves or inserts in the front edges (we have a toddler) - A timber nosing at the top landing (the hall carpet will stay) - The clawed carpet edge on the small ledge beside the stairs sorted too Please include in your offer: 1. How you'll keep the step heights consistent 2. The timber species and finish you'd use 3. Photos of stair jobs you've done before 4. Whether you have public liability insurance 5. A price for a wall handrail as an optional extra Timing is flexible. Happy to arrange a time for you to come and measure up.

Hi, I have 7 floor heater vents that have been removed. So they need to be replaced with matching floorboards with exact sizing to fit the gaps in the floor. Total 7 vent holes to be changed I believe only one of the vents needs to be done with 3 different pieces of floorboard as you can see on photos. Thank you

I need an internal stair case sanded back ready to white wash, stain and varnish. I don't know if the vertical railings need to be removed for the job to be done. If it can be done by end of October/early November that would be ideal. hard flooring and carpet will be done early to mid November. Depending on the cost of the job, I am also tossing up whether to replace them completely. I am just getting quotes at this stage so I don't know what the budget would be, hence the $10 price point.
