Looking for a professional who knows the ins and outs of laying floating floorboards over tile. Happy to assist along the way. Needs someone who can do a proper job, including removing skirt, leave enough space for expansion etc and add skirt back on etc. this would be an ongoing job where we would ideally do it in stages. One area has rounded / curved stairs making this a little trickier. Price to be agreed on through consultation.

There is a small section of yellow tongue that needs to be cut to fill an already removed rectangle of yellow tongue. Also there will need to be some hybrid flooring to be layed over the area. The rest of the floor is already done, just the small section with the yellowtongue area needs doing.

Looking for an experienced flooring contractor to replace the existing checkerboard tiled flooring throughout the kitchen, dining, living and entry/hall areas of a house in Greenvale. Approximate area is 40–45m², subject to site measure. We want a good-quality mid-range light natural oak-look hybrid floor — contemporary, warm and neutral. Nothing too grey, yellow or rustic. The finish should suit a newly renovated warm white/light-grey IKEA kitchen. Scope to include: - Site measure and confirmation of total flooring area - Remove existing tiled flooring where required - Remove/dispose of tiles and building waste - Grind, patch and level the existing slab/subfloor as required - Supply good-quality mid-range hybrid flooring - Supply/install suitable underlay if required - Install flooring throughout kitchen, dining, living and entry/hall - Allow appropriate expansion gaps - Supply/install matching trims, transitions and finishing - Remove/refit or replace skirting where required - Leave site clean and finished The kitchen will also be renovated, so flooring installation will need to be coordinated with the kitchen works. New floating flooring should generally run up to the kitchen cabinetry rather than underneath fixed cabinets. Please also provide an alternative price to install over the existing tiles if, after inspection, the tiles are sufficiently sound, flat and suitable. We are happy to consider this if it gives a good long-term result. We are looking for a middle-ground product — durable and attractive, rather than the cheapest available product or expensive engineered timber. Please include: - Flooring brand/range proposed - Cost per m² - Labour and materials separately - Tile removal/preparation cost - Estimated duration - Photos of similar work - Warranty details

Hi! Looking for an experienced flooring installer for our kitchen and dining area, about 13 m2. The job: - Remove the existing floor tiles and adhesive. They're laid over old timber floorboards, so please take care not to damage the boards. - Dispose of the tiles and rubbish. - Prep the subfloor as needed so it's clean, flat and ready for a floating floor. - Install Market Timbers Hydrowood prefinished cork click planks (7 mm, with underlay). We supply the flooring and underlay. - Fit scotia/trims and any doorway transition strips needed for a neat finish. Please include in your offer whether subfloor prep, disposal and trims are covered, and what your availability looks like. We have two dogs, so a durable, well-sealed finish matters. Happy to send photos. Thanks!

Hybrid/SPC flooring installation – 116m² Looking for an experienced flooring installer to install approximately 116m² of owner-supplied SPC hybrid flooring in a house in Cornella VIC 3551 (near Bendigo/Heathcote). Flooring is Aqua Stone 6.5mm SPC hybrid (AQSSPC-009-6.5). I will have approximately 135m² of flooring supplied and ready on site. Existing flooring will be removed prior to installation and the majority of the subfloor is exposed concrete slab. The slab appears to be in reasonably good condition but has some old adhesive/residue and patched areas. I would like the installer to check the slab for flatness before installation and advise if any grinding, patching or levelling is required. Skirting boards will already be removed, so no scotia installation is required. New skirting will be installed after the flooring. Please quote for installation labour only and let me know your rate per m². If additional subfloor preparation is required, please quote this separately rather than including an unknown allowance. Photos show the current condition of the concrete. Looking for someone experienced specifically with floating SPC/hybrid click flooring. Please mention your flooring installation experience when making an offer.
