Over the last year we've had leak trouble with our upstairs ensuite bathroom. It leaked to the downstairs kitchen roof. We: - Got the shower re-grouted. - The leak persisted - Got a leak specialist to look at it, he did a pressure/flood test and the water rapidly leaked downstairs. - They recommended we regrout the whole bathroom - We got a new shower screen and the whole floor regrouted - We didn't use the shower for a week - It leaked as soon as we used it again, so we assume it's something to do with the drain. We've spent thousands but are unsure how to proceed. I have wondered: - The drain flange needs to be either re-bedded or replaced? with the waterproof membrane properly clamped or bonded to the drain body. Many shower drains have a clamping ring specifically for this — the membrane gets sandwiched between the drain body and the clamping ring. From the photo it doesn't look like that was ever done correctly here. Water that hits the shower floor doesn't all make it cleanly into the drain opening. Some spreads outward, and if the flange-to-tile junction isn't properly sealed with a waterproof membrane bond, it wicks under the tiles and into the substrate — which is exactly the pathway that causes the ceiling damage? We need to understand the scope of this work and if we need to replace all tiles/fix waterproofing. We want it do be done with a guarantee. I’m looking for someone experienced with concreting to complete a small slab at my property in Junction Village VIC 3977. I’m converting an existing enclosed horse stable into dog kennels. The stable already has walls and currently has a dirt floor, and I’d like the base concreted properly. Approximate area is one stable bay, around 3m x 3–4m, at approx. 100mm thickness. The job would include: * Supplying the concrete * Pouring the slab * Screeding and finishing * Advising on/preparing the base if needed * Ensuring suitable fall/drainage if required * Leaving a safe, practical finish for dog kennels Access is directly into/near the stable area, so concrete may be able to be poured straight in or barrowed a short distance. I’m after someone who can complete the job properly from start to finish, including labour, concrete, delivery and any required materials. Budget: $1,000 for quoting purposes — open to realistic offers depending on what is included.

Looking for a qualified roof plumber or experienced roof tiler to repair a leak under a second-story dormer window. The source of the leak seems to be visible in photos. The lead apron flashing running between the timber window base and the concrete roof tiles has a severe split right down the middle and has degraded. Scope of Work: Supply and install new flashing (lead or a high-quality flexible flashing like Wakaflex/Dakaflash) to properly seal the junction. Ensure correct overlap under the window cladding and molded over the concrete tile profiles. Check surrounding tiles right at the junction to ensure no water is tracking backwards. Requirements: Must have experience with roof plumbing/tiling and working at heights. Please bring your own extension ladder (single-story roof access needed to reach the dormer slope) Please provide examples of similar roof repairs or state your trade qualifications when bidding.
