*Re-upload Looking for an experienced flooring specialist or carpenter to replace exactly ONE damaged engineered timber floorboard in my apartment. The damage is a small 3cm x 3cm burn area from a power bank fire, completely contained to a single board. I have the exact matching spare engineered European Oak plank on-site and ready to go (see attached photos)(Specifications: Species: European Oak Profile: 15/4mmx185mmx1900mm Color: Smoked Chocolate Coverage: 2.109M2) Requirements: - Must have experience with single-plank cut-out extraction methods (plunge cutting, removing tongue/groove lip on replacement, and gluing flush to subfloor). - Must bring all necessary professional tools (oscillating multi-tool/track saw with depth stop, chisels, premium polyurethane construction adhesive/glue, weights, etc.). - The finished plank must sit completely flush and seamless with the surrounding floorboards to satisfy landlord inspection. Hi, I am requesting a quote for a repair on our timber flooring at our apartment. A piece of the wood has split and lifted along the grain, and we need a professional assessment and repair. Details: * Dimensions: The split is approximately 32 cm long, 1 cm wide at its widest point, and 2 mm deep. * Issue: As shown in the attached photos, the splinter initiated at its paper-thin edge and lifted upward along the natural grain of the wood. * Photos: I have attached high-resolution photos showing the full length of the split and a close-up of the origin point for your reference. We don't have a replacement or spare board. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards, Nuno Pereira

We would like to install a simple false floor in a room under our house so we can use it for storage. Prefer a metal frame with board on it so there is an even floor that sits above the dirt and rock so any water can continue to flow under the rock / floor. Looking for an inexpensive and simple solution if possible

What we want: Remove the back half of the deck along a curved line, exposing the ground below. The remaining deck would have a curved front edge. Below it, a corten steel edge would follow the curve and hold back a gravel/pebble area planted with natives. Dimensions: The deck is 3.1 m wide. The curve would be an S-shaped curve to make more room for a tree on the left with natives scattered throughout. Carpentry scope: Cut the decking boards and joists back to the curved line, and remove the redundant framing, bearers and posts in the back section (if required). Re-support the new edge: a new bearer or posts along or near the curve, plus blocking between the joists at the cut line so every board end is fixed. Finish the curved edge. Install corten steel edging along the curve to separate the deck zone from the gravel. Potentially in-scope: Re-finish the deck in a lighter stain.

I have an existing old house in pillars with timber flooring on top of which there was a carpet. I removed the carpet and existing skirting and cleaned the underlay. I bought the hybrid flooring and skirting board. I will be providing the material. It’s a living room and foyer which is around 23 sq meter. I want someone to install the hybrid floor boards. I will provide the material.
