I am seeking a quotation for the structural design and engineering documentation of retaining walls (with concrete sleepers) for a residential project. - Please find the site plan attached for your reference. The retaining walls are to be designed in accordance with the levels shown on the plan. - The existing natural ground level for the proposed building is 92.6m. The proposed Finished Floor Level (FFL) is 92.985. The rear of the site rises to approximately RL 94.200, with the side boundaries increasing gradually from 92.6m at the front to 94.2m at the rear, indicating an overall fall of approximately 1.6 metres from rear to front. - Please consider these levels in assessing the required retaining wall heights and structural design. Kindly advise if a detailed contour survey or additional level information is required. - Please note that the retaining wall along the rear boundary is proposed to be a stepped configuration, in accordance with the attached image. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or structural handyman to repair a carport timber support. Issue: The bottom of one timber post (90x90mm) has rotted and sunk slightly. This has caused the horizontal beam joint above the post to open/split. Carport details: Metal sheet roof Beam approx. 240mm x 70mm spanning approx. 3.7m. 2 beams total for the whole carport length. Post approx. 90mm x 90mm x 2.1m Beam joint sits directly over the post Surface rot visible at the beam joint (appears shallow) Post base fixed to steel stirrup on concrete slab Scope required: Safely prop and support roof structure Remove and replace damaged post (H4 treated) Re-level beam to original position Properly repair and reinforce the beam joint Ensure long-term structural integrity Seal and paint repaired areas I’m open to the appropriate structural repair method based on your assessment (reinforcement vs section replacement). Please include labour and hardware in your quote. I would prefer if you include supply materials from Bunnings or similar. Please confirm experience with load-bearing timber repairs.
