Need an experienced plumber / bathroom handyman to install a 90cm x 90cm freestanding shower cubicle(no screws/glue required for frame). The old shower base has been removed and the floor has just been tiled flat. Scope: Remove old wall fittings: Unscrew/remove current wall mixer and showerhead holder. Water supply from vanity: Drill a neat hole on the left side of the vanity cabinet. Install 2 tee diverters on the existing hot/cold angle valves inside the vanity. Run hoses: Route hot/cold DN15/G1/2 Stainless Steel braided hoses from vanity to the shower cubicle mixer inlets. Simple surface route is acceptable: hoses can run along the wall behind/right side of the shower cubicle. A small gap between cubicle and wall is acceptable if needed. Do not drill the acrylic shower base. Hose length: Please allow approximately 2m-2.3m per hot/cold line depending on final routing. Waste connection: Shower waste outlet/top is 50mm, but the existing puddle flange hole appears around 40-45mm internal diameter. Please supply suitable adapter/flexible waste connector, ideally 50mm top/nut to DN40 tail/spigot(or DN32?), and insert/seal properly into the puddle flange. Waste connection sealing: please use a push-fit ribbed rubber grommet or butyl mastic to seal the pipe into the puddle flange hole. If you must use silicone to bridge the gap, please use standard removable sanitary silicone. Strictly NO PVC solvent cement or permanent construction adhesives—the connection must be removable for future maintenance. Test: Test hot/cold water and waste drainage carefully for leaks before assemble cubicle. Install shower cubicle: Assemble the 11000 Aqua series freestanding shower cubicle (click-lock system, no screws/glue required). Level the base using the adjustable feet Silicone: Apply wet-area silicone around the outside base/floor joint after testing. Total job time: estimated 2 hrs

This is bit of a left of centre post but I am looking for an experienced and creative woodworker / welder / furniture maker type person to construct for me a custom designed parcel letterbox. The letterbox has a corten steel outer 'shell' and a hardwood timber (or potentially coated plywood) interior 'box', set slightly back from the front of the corten steel shell. The front and back faces of the box need to be hinged and openable for easy access to the letterbox for both us and the postie. The inner box won't have a top (although may need to have a small 'ledge' at each end of the top to allow something to hinge the doors to), so letters can basically drop right into it. I've attached my plan for the letterbox and am looking for someone to help me build it. The pricing I've indicated here is simply a placeholder. If you could provide an idea of timeframe and price to assist, that would be great. I am based in Woodend in the Macedon Ranges, VIC, and would be happy to collect this once built. Please let me know if you have any questions. I've attached an image of an existing letterbox (although this is only corten steel and doesn't use any timber) in the rough style I'm looking to create with this letterbox for your reference. (Note: I am also very open to creative interpretations of my design if you have any practical suggestions that might help improve the build time and cost).

Looking to seal some of the larger cracks running across our polished concrete floor (kitchen on ground floor). Edges on the larger cracks have started to spall so we want to stop further damage rather than a complete fix (given there could well be more movement in the future). I understand a polyurethane sealant is a better option than silicone. Would be looking for the polyurethane to be tinted to more closely match the floor (though appreciate it will not be perfect and the cracks will be visible). I understand the job requires: - vacuum/clean out the cracks - install backer rod where depth requires it - apply colour-matched polyurethane sealant (may need to bring a few options or obtain tint after seeing the floor) - tool finish flush or very slightly recessed - remove any excess, leave area clean.

Not sure why, but my TV isn’t working. I’m sure it’s the TV and Tenant point and not the TV need to help troubleshooting as to why It’s an apartment complex there’s no manhole I’m sure there is a data point inspection on the floor I’m sure it would be something simple and small.
