Looking for an experienced drainage plumber / concreting contractor to inspect and quote for installing an internal trench drain inside an existing residential garage. Existing Issue During heavy rain, water enters or builds up the rear garage wall area. Behind the brick wall is retained higher ground approximately 1.5m–2m above garage floor level, so there may be groundwater / hydrostatic pressure involved. The aim is to install an internal grated trench/channel drain near the rear wall area to capture water and discharge it to an existing stormwater pit outside the house. Scope of Work (Quote / Advice Needed) - Site inspection and drainage assessment - Recommend suitable trench drain/channel drain system - Concrete saw cutting of garage slab - Excavation/trenching as required - Install grated trench drain inside garage - Connect drain to existing stormwater system/pit - Advise if additional ag pipe/subsoil drainage is recommended - Removal/disposal of concrete and waste - Reinstate concrete neatly where required Site Details - Existing stormwater pit located approximately 5–7m from garage rear wall - Garage width plus adjacent side storage room combined width is roughly up to 10m maximum - Access behind wall may be available from under house - Interested in discussing trenchless / boring solutions if suitable to reduce excavation - Garage is existing concrete slab construction Looking for someone with experience in: - stormwater drainage - trench/channel drain installations - garage flooding issues - concrete cutting - residential drainage solutions Please include: - similar job experience/photos if available - whether you are licensed/insured - whether plumbing compliance certificate can be provided - rough approach you would recommend Happy to provide additional photos, measurements and site details.
