Looking for an experienced bathroom repairer / handyman / tiler to complete the following repairs: 1. Leaking shower enclosure / door * Investigate and repair water leaking from the glass shower enclosure, mainly around the door bottom, gaps, seals and threshold. * Check/adjust/replace defective door seals or bottom sweep if required. * Remove failed sealant, clean and prepare surfaces, then reseal affected joints with suitable wet-area sanitary silicone. * Water-test after repair to confirm leakage has stopped. 2. Rotten / water-damaged door jamb * Remove loose/soft/rotten material from the lower section. * Repair and make good the damaged jamb. * Seal, paint and finish neatly to match existing as closely as practical. 3. Loose floor tile at doorway / threshold * Carefully remove the loose tile. * Inspect and locally repair the substrate if required. * Re-bed/re-fix the tile securely. * Regrout and reseal surrounding joints. Please include normal minor materials, clean-up and waste removal. The aim is to stop the shower leakage first and properly repair the resulting damage, not simply apply new silicone over failed material. Please quote based on the photos. Inspection before confirming the final price is fine.

Looking for an experienced carpenter or fencer to install a new composite batten screen along an existing fence. Approximate size: Length: 15 metres Height: 2.4 metres Composite castellated/batten screening panels I will supply the screening panels/material Scope of work: Install the new screening along the existing fence line The existing fence is old and not very stable, so the new screen should not rely on the existing fence for structural support New posts/support framing will need to be installed alongside the existing fence to create a strong and secure structure Install and fix the composite screening panels to the new frame/posts Cut and finish panels neatly where required Finished screen needs to be straight, level and securely fixed Please supply the required posts, framing, concrete, screws/fixings and other installation materials, unless otherwise agreed I have attached: Photos of the current existing fence Photos showing the ideal finished look/style I would like to achieve Approximate total area is 36m² (15m × 2.4m). Please provide a quote for labour and the supporting structure/materials required for installation. Both windows are double glazed and on the first floor. Window sizes: * Bathroom: 2057mm W × 610mm H (approx. 1.25m²) * Ensuite: 854mm W × 1810mm H (approx. 1.55m²) * Total: approx. 2.80m² I’m looking for: * Translucent/frosted film that provides privacy while allowing natural light through * Full privacy from outside, including at night * Professional, neat installation * Film suitable for double-glazed windows * Good-quality, durable film Please quote for supply + installation and let me know the brand/product you would use. Please also confirm that the film is suitable for double glazing and won’t cause any issues with the glass manufacturer’s warranty.

Hi, I’m looking for a handyman to help with some plumbing and cabinet modifications in my bathroom, as there currently isn’t a water supply or drainage connection for a washing machine. The work I need includes: 1. Drill holes through the partition Drill suitable holes through the partition so that the electrical cable, washing machine drain hose, hot water pipe and cold water pipe can pass through. Photo showing exactly where the holes are required. 2. Modify the hot and cold water connections(license required?) - Replace the existing hot water valve with a 1-in-2 connection, so it can supply both the sink and the washing machine. - Replace the existing cold water valve with a 1-in-3 connection, so it can supply the sink, the washing machine, and leave one additional outlet available for future use. 3. Modify the waste/drainage pipe(license required?) - Replace the existing waste pipe/strap so that the washing machine drainage can also be connected. - I would like to use a strap with two additional waste outlets, so there is an extra connection available. Photo showing what needs to be replaced. 4. Modify the bottom of the cabinet - Remove the timber panel at the bottom of the cabinet. - I would like the bottom of the cabinet to be completely level/flush with the floor.
