I'm looking for a reliable and experienced dog sitter to look after my 6-year-old Golden Retriever, Rocky, while we're attending two weddings on separate dates. Rocky is a friendly, affectionate 44 kg Golden Retriever who absolutely loves people! He's generally a relaxed dog who enjoys spending most of his day resting and sleeping, although he can get quite excited when greeting people. What we're looking for: Someone to look after Rocky at his usual home during the day and evening (no overnight stay required). Keep him company, feed him and let him outside when needed. Someone experienced with large dogs, particularly those with reactive behaviours. No walks or interactions with other dogs are required. Someone willing to meet Rocky beforehand so he can become comfortable with them. Important things to know about Rocky: Although Rocky loves people, he can be reactive towards other dogs and has a history of resource guarding, including biting when someone attempts to take an item away from him. For this reason, we're specifically seeking someone confident and experienced in safely managing these behaviours. We're happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand and provide clear instructions about his routine and behaviour. If you're experienced, patient and comfortable looking after a big, lovable Golden Retriever, we'd love to hear from you! Please let us know about your experience with large or reactive dogs. Thanks!

Hi! I’m looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter to look after my three dogs from 22 to 27 October. Ideally, you’ll be based in Doncaster or a nearby suburb, as I’d prefer somewhere close by. I’m looking for someone experienced with dogs who can provide daily care, feeding and plenty of company. Occasional photo updates would also be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi! 😊 We’re going away from 26 December to Sunday 10 January, and would need him to be picked up or dropped off early on the morning of 26 December. We expect to be back around 6–7 pm on 10 January. He’s our precious two-year-old Moodle (Maltipoo crossed with a Toy Poodle) — a very loving, affectionate and snuggly little boy. ❤️ He’s toilet trained, loves cuddles and sleeping in bed with you, and is very much an inside dog. These breeds thrive on companionship, so it’s important to us that he stays indoors and is cared for as part of the family. As we live in Glen Iris, we’d love to know if you’re available between now and then to meet him and help him become comfortable with you. Ideally, we’d also like to arrange a few shorter stays of 3–4 nights between now and 26 December to help him settle in and ensure we find the right person for him before our longer trip. Our priority is finding someone who genuinely loves dogs, understands his needs and makes us feel confident that he’ll be safe, happy and well cared for while we’re away. Please let me know if this is something you’d be open to and what your availability and pricing would look like. We’d love to find the right fit for everyone! 😊

Hi, I’m urgently looking for someone to look after my dog, Hazel, either today or from tomorrow, due to an unexpected family emergency. She’s a small, sweet Cavoodle and is used to being indoors. I know this is very last minute, but I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know whether you have availability to board her. Thank you so much!
