Looking for a DJ for our wedding reception (4 hours) on 29 November in Sydney. We’ll have a playlist/some specific songs we’d like played, but we’re also looking for someone who can read the room and keep the dance floor going, rather than just playing through a set playlist. We’d prefer songs to be mixed/shortened rather than always playing full songs while people are dancing. We’re also potentially interested in having live acoustic music/singing during our short ceremony, so we’re open to someone who can offer a DJ + live acoustic/singer combo. This might be a long shot but I'm looking for DJs that can perform at a heavy metal nightclub. We have a group of DJs already across different subgenres and are keen to add more to the mix so we can have different styles on different nights. If interested, please mention what styles of metal you are comfortable DJing. The next event is on Sept 18th in Darlinghurst. We are looking for an experienced and professional saxophonist to perform at our wedding reception. 📍 Location: La Montage, Lilyfield NSW 📅 Date: 7 November 2026 🕕 Time: Approximately 6:00pm – 9:00pm We are looking for a talented saxophonist who has experience performing at weddings and wedding receptions and can help create a fun, elegant and memorable atmosphere throughout the evening. What we're looking for: - Experienced wedding/event saxophonist - Professional and well-presented - Able to perform a mix of upbeat, romantic and sophisticated music appropriate for a wedding reception - Comfortable performing around dinner, speeches and other reception formalities - Ideally able to play alongside/background to a DJ or existing music setup - Great at reading the room and adapting the energy throughout the evening - High-quality sound/equipment where required We are particularly interested in someone who can bring some energy and atmosphere to the dance floor, rather than simply providing background music.
