Generally, the most successful CVs & Folios: Have a contemporary layout - ie. clean and clear, not too busy with information. White space is good! Don't have any unnecessary graphics - ie. borders, lines and blocks of colour etc. which take focus away from the information. Usually if your eye is jumping around the page then it's too busy Are short and sharp - ie.1 page (max 2 pages) with concise information, not too exaggerated and descriptive Contain the most relevant information on the first page and in order of importance - for example in your case, education and skills are most important because they're architecture related. Your work history is not so relevant to the industry so this could take less space and live below education etc. Contain graphic proficiency bars for skills - I'd delete the bars from the languages section (not relevant to the industry) and add the bars to your skills section etc. This is helpful for an employer to quickly gauge your skill level. See folio example 2 Contain a photo in the CV. Also see example 2 Have a copy of the CV in the Folio doc Sometime combine CV and Folio in one concise document Sometimes contain small thumbnails of the projects in the CV Have sections for different types of drawings - for example, the last page in your folio looks interesting because it's more graphic. Perhaps these drawings could be spread out and replace some of the repetitive Revit technical drawings. Look for balance in the presentation of types of drawings. Only include drawings you're happy with and sit well in the layout
