Alter & hem S-fold sheer + blockout curtains I have new S-fold curtains that need professional alterations to fit an installed 360 cm double curtain track. Sheer curtain: * 1 × large Freedom Bardwell S-fold sheer curtain * Currently one continuous panel and needs to be cut in half vertically to create two centre-opening panels * The two new cut edges need to be neatly finished/hemmed * 280 cm drop also needs to be shortened to the correct finished length, approximately 1 cm above carpet Blockout curtains: * 2 × S-fold blockout curtain liner panels * Each panel is a little too wide, so approximately 50 cm needs to be removed from the width of each panel, with the cut sides professionally refinished * 280 cm drop also needs to be shortened and re-hemmed to approximately 1 cm above carpet The curtains will be hung first so I can provide the exact finished drop. I’m looking for someone experienced with curtain alterations, particularly S-fold headings, sheer fabric and blockout fabric. Located in Torrens, ACT. Happy to drop them off locally or have the work completed here if you have suitable equipment. Please include your price for the complete job and details of any curtain-alteration experience.

I’m looking for someone experienced in sewing to make a small café-style curtain to conceal an open corner cupboard beneath my kitchen bench. Photos provided. The opening is L-shaped, and I’m flexible about how the curtain is attached (e.g., adhesive Velcro, clips, curtain wire, a small track or another simple fixing method). I’d like the curtain to: - Follow the corner neatly and cover the entire opening. I can provide measurements - Have soft, gathered folds -Be easy to move aside for access, perhaps with an opening or separate panels -Have neat, professionally finished edges and hems I’d like to use a linen or cotton fabric from Spotlight. I can provide the fabric name and details for you to purchase, or I can buy the fabric and supply you with it. The task would ideally include: 1. Confirming the measurements, fabric requirements and attachment method 2. Making the curtain to the agreed measurements 3. Either posting or delivering the finished curtain with clear fixing instructions / ready to fix Please let me know whether your offer includes fabric, fixing materials, postage/delivery or installation.
