Task Description I’m looking for a human ebook editor/formatter to format and lightly proofread Volume 1 of a financial literacy book for ebook release. The book is already written in Markdown. This task is focused on formatting, structure, readability, and light editorial polish — not rewriting or heavy copy editing. This is the first book in a 15-volume series, so quality and consistency matter. If this goes well, there will be ongoing work. Scope of Work Formatting Clean and standardize headings, spacing, and lists Improve readability for ebook screens Ensure consistent structure throughout the book Make the content feel polished and human (not raw Markdown) Prepare the book for EPUB release (or EPUB-ready Markdown) Light Editing / Proofreading Fix obvious grammar, spelling, and punctuation issues Smooth awkward phrasing where appropriate Flag unclear or inconsistent sections (no major rewrites) What This Task Does NOT Include No major rewriting or content changes No illustration or design work No curriculum or structural rewrites Deliverables A clean, professionally formatted EPUB, or A standardized Markdown file ready for EPUB conversion Bonus if you can suggest a reusable formatting structure for future volumes. We are a new and growing business looking for an experienced digital marketing specialist to help build our online presence and generate leads. The role includes SEO optimisation (on-page SEO, meta titles and descriptions, keyword research), writing website and landing page content, Google Ads setup, ad copywriting and ongoing optimisation, and social media management across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
