I bought a reception desk on marketplace and I have striped it back and need some help to finish it. Need someone confident using powertools to cut timber and affix with screws etc I just need the fluted panel attached to the front so goes straight to the floor and doesnt concave inwards. I have timber and everything here just need help with getting the cuts and attaching it all so it looks kinda like inspo picture.

Tidying up an old laminate kitchen(2x3m): 1. Fitting a new tall pantry - the new pantry, currently flat packed in box, to replace the double door under-bench cupboard in the 3rd photo (requires cutting the benchtop and removing the old cupboard and standing the new tall pantry in its place). 2. Fitting a new timber benchtop in place of the existing brown laminate one.. 3. Trimming an inch off the base of the 7 laminated cupboard doors (they're swollen at the base) and edging with timber (same as another chippie did, shown in photo on a white cupboard shelf). Plus outside, adding some timber panel/edging to cover chipped fibrecement wall cladding.

I’m located in Mount Warren park, QLD, 4207 Carpenter/Joiner Needed – Timber Tabletop with 5 Bowl Cut-Outs I need a timber tabletop made for our slime business display/testing station. The tabletop needs to be approximately 1900mm long × 600mm wide. I need 5 clean, evenly spaced circular holes cut into the tabletop to hold plastic slime bowls. Important: I don’t want the bowls sitting flush with the timber. I want each bowl to drop approximately halfway through the tabletop, so roughly half of the bowl is visible above the timber and the other half sits underneath. This is so kids standing around the table can easily see the slime inside the bowls. I can provide the exact diameter/measurements of the bowls before the job is started. I can also supply one of the actual bowls if needed to make sure the cut-outs are the correct size and the bowls sit at the right height. I’m happy to supply the timber myself, or if you can supply a suitable timber panel, I’m happy to pay the additional cost for the timber. For the timber, we’re looking for pine or a similar light-coloured, nice-looking timber that isn’t overly expensive. We want to keep the natural light timber look and grain visible once it has been clear coated. Open to suggestions I’d like all 5 cut outs and the outside edges to be nicely finished with no sharp or rough edges. The timber needs to have a nice smooth/sanded finish. If the timber is purchased already sanded and smooth, that is completely fine. I’d also like the entire tabletop sealed with a durable clear protective coating, including the inside edges of all 5 cut-outs, so it is protected from slime/moisture, easy to wipe clean, and still keeps the natural light timber appearance. I have an open pantry space in my kitchen that needs to be fitted out with shelving and doors. Scope: ▪️Two narrow panels fitted to the sides of the existing kitchen cabinetry, for the doors to hang from. ▪️Doors to match existing IKEA melamine doors in the kitchen (confirmed a match is available). ▪️Fixed shelving mounted to the back wall with appropriate support underneath to hold the weight of glass jars, tins, and pantry items. Material open to the tradesperson's recommendation, doesn't need to match the IKEA melamine, but if it isn't melamine it will need to be painted white. ◾️Perforated copper inlay detail, will discuss placement and finish on site. ◾️No cabinet box needed, this is a simpler build attached directly to the space. Approximate Measurements: 238cm height, 74cm (opening) - 170cm (back) width, 58cm depth Details: ▪️Materials to be sourced and quoted by the tradesperson. ▪️Measurement to be confirmed on site before the job is priced. ▪️Budget shown is a rough guide only, final quote after inspection. Needed by end of September. Comparing quotes from more than one tradesperson before confirming, will go with whichever fits best for the job. Photos attached.

I’m looking for a local cabinet maker, carpenter or experienced woodworker to make a custom foldable arch backdrop for my event styling business. I have attached a reference image showing exactly what I’m after. Approximate requirements: * Around 2m high x 1–1.2m wide * Solid arch shape with a smooth front * Splits/folds in half horizontally for easy transport * Strong joining/hinge system at the back * Fold-out support legs at the rear so it stands securely * As thin and lightweight as possible, while still being sturdy * Smooth surface suitable for painting and repainting for different events * MDF, plywood or another lightweight material you recommend The most important part is that I can easily transport, set up and pack down the backdrop myself, as it will be used regularly for balloon and event installations. I’m located in Glass House Mountains and would ideally love to find someone around the Sunshine Coast / Moreton Bay / North Brisbane area. Happy to discuss materials and exact construction with someone who has experience and may have a better suggestion for the folding/joining mechanism.
