Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced carpenter, set builder, or van fitout specialist to build a custom lightweight shell that looks like a small baby grand piano. This is for a king single-sized space in my van — so it needs to be compact, light, and strong (easy to move and transport). I’m aiming for a stage-style appearance (curved baby grand lid), but it doesn’t have to be full size — just the look and feel of a real baby grand. Hi there, I'm looking for a carpenter or builder who can custom-make floating corner shelves, similar to the style in the image attached. I've also included detailed plans with measurements and a suggested construction method — the design aims to keep costs down by avoiding large curved timber sheets. The wall is standard gyprock, and we’re happy to use pine or whatever timber is most affordable, as the shelves will be painted. We need six shelves in total. They’re only holding lightweight cardboard boxes, so they don’t need to support heavy loads. The shelves are for a showroom installation in Melbourne at the end of July. We’re based in WA and can arrange transport, but ideally, you’re based in Victoria.
