Replace rotted structural beam on front stair landing (Banyo) Looking for an experienced carpenter or licensed builder to inspect and replace a rotted structural support beam on our front stair landing in Banyo (Brisbane). As shown in the photos, the front bearer supporting the landing is significantly deteriorated (likely water damage and/or possible termite activity). We are looking for a proper structural repair — not a temporary patch. Hi, I have two staircases that need repairs to them. Please provide all materials. The house is highset 2metres. 1. The front staircase needs existing balustrade and posts removed and replaced with new compliant timber balustrade. Refer Image 1. Preferably prepped and painted (optional). Just after basic exterior grade timber balusters such as H3 rated pine, similar to image 2. 2. The backstairs needs a hardwood timber post replaced. Connected from the stair tread to the awning roof.
