There’s real earning potential waiting for you on Airtasker if you’ve got experience in audio visual solutions. Whether you’re a seasoned AV technician or someone just starting out with your own gear, people all over Australia are posting tasks that match your skills. With strong reviews and reliable service, you can build a steady stream of income by offering audio visual gigs in your local area.

AV Installation

AV installation is one of the most reliable ways to earn money as an audio visual expert on Airtasker. If you’ve got hands-on skills and the right tools, there’s constant demand for everything from home theatre setups to full commercial fit-outs. You might be mounting TVs and hiding cables for a clean home setup one day, then installing video conferencing systems in a boardroom the next. Many clients also need help integrating AV systems. If you’re fast and know your gear, these jobs can quickly turn into repeat work — especially with good reviews.

Audio Services

Audio services are a great way to earn a steady income on Airtasker, especially if you’ve got experience with recording, mixing, or working live sound. There’s consistent demand from podcasters, musicians, small business owners, and event organisers who need help with everything from editing voiceovers to setting up mics. Many clients also look for audio engineers to run live sound at weddings or concerts, or to clean up noisy recordings with EQ and noise reduction. With strong reviews, it’s easy to attract repeat clients who need reliable audio support.

Video Editing

Video editing is one of the fastest-growing categories on Airtasker, thanks to the constant demand from content creators and small businesses looking to polish their footage. If you’ve got solid editing skills and access to professional tools, there’s no shortage of work. Taskers are often hired to cut together wedding highlights, social media reels, corporate explainer videos, or full-length YouTube content. Once you build a few strong reviews, it’s easy to turn editing into a steady income stream with repeat clients who rely on clean, creative work.

Video Production

Video production is a solid way to earn higher-paying gigs on Airtasker, especially if you’ve got your own camera gear and know how to shoot clean footage. There’s strong demand from clients looking for help with everything from weddings and conferences to branded social media content and real estate walkthroughs. Taskers regularly book jobs like product demos, corporate videos, interviews, and music video shoots. If you’ve got a good eye for lighting and framing, you can quickly build a reputation and charge more for quality results.

Live Events Services

Live events are one of the most profitable areas for AV experts on Airtasker. If you’re comfortable working under pressure and have experience with setup or operation, there’s strong demand across weddings, conferences, and public events. Clients often need full AV setups, lighting design, livestreaming support, or help managing mics and mixers on the day. If you’re reliable and good with gear, live events can become a repeat source of high-value work.
