Looking for a reliable, strong male or female to take my 70-year-old dad on gentle outings once a month from his nursing home near Carrara. He is wheelchair-bound and had a stroke, so someone with experience supporting elderly, disabled, or stroke patients is preferred. Outings may include a walk along the beach, coffee, or attending a local show. You’ll need to be patient, physically capable, and ideally have your own transport with room for a wheelchair. Outings would be around 1–2 hours. Great opportunity for someone with a background in aged care, disability support, or similar. Please share your experience and availability in your response.

You need to undertake her personal care assistance and some minor household tasks. Approximately 15-20 hrs per week. Seeking Personal Caring Assistant for Elderly Grandmother (2–4 hrs/week) We are looking for a compassionate, reliable Personal Caring Assistant to support our elderly grandmother for 2–4 hours per week in our home. Responsibilities include assisting with showering and accompanying her on outings in the community. $40 per hour. As a registered nurse, I’m seeking someone with PSA qualifications or equivalent experience, and a genuine passion for elderly care. Prior experience in this field is essential. Please note: We are currently on a waitlist for government-funded support and do not yet have external funding, so this position will be privately paid for the time being. If it’s a good fit, we hope to continue the arrangement long-term and transition to funded payment once approved.
