I need a TPB registered tax agent to either do my tax return, or help me lodge it through myTax. Considerations are business (only a carry over)+ freelance + PAYG income + property (but unlikely to claim on property). The property and business components are very minor and won’t require much work. It should be a straightforward preparation overall. Title: Registered BAS Agent – BAS/IAS Lodgement & Payroll Compliance for 4 Entities Task Description: We're a group of four related engineering, inspection, and design businesses based in Victoria, Australia. We manage day-to-day bookkeeping in-house and are looking for a registered BAS Agent to handle compliance, review, and lodgement work on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities include: -Monthly IAS preparation and lodgement -Quarterly BAS preparation, review and lodgement -GST reconciliation review and adjustments -PAYG obligations -Superannuation Guarantee compliance -Fortnightly STP lodgement (payroll data will be prepared in-house) -Reviewing and sample-checking bookkeeping records prior to lodgement -End-of-financial-year support and liaison with our external accountant Requirements: -Must be a Registered BAS Agent or Tax Agent (Tax Practitioners Board registered) — registration number required and will be verified -Experience working with Xero -Experience managing multiple related entities/businesses Australian-based, familiar with ATO and Fair Work requirements Location: Open to candidates based anywhere in Australia — this role isn't restricted to a specific state or to online-only.
