Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced accountant or registered tax agent in Australia to help lodge tax returns for my parents for the last financial year. Background: - Both of my parents are on Bridging Visas - This is their first time lodging tax returns in Australia - They do not have employment or business income - Their only “income” is bank interest from savings Specific situation: - My mother earned some bank interest - A portion of the interest was taxed at a high rate because she did not have a TFN at the time - We need help to lodge the tax return and claim back the withheld tax from ATO - My father has little to no income (possibly zero) and still needs to lodge What I need: A registered tax agent or experienced accountant Familiar with ATO returns for individuals with no income / TFN-related withholding Help lodge both returns correctly and efficiently Ensure maximum eligible refund is claimed Preferred: - Experience with first-time lodgements - Quick turnaround Documents: I can provide all necessary documents (bank statements, TFN, ID, etc.) Please include your experience and estimated timeframe in your offer. Hi, I’m looking for an experienced bookkeeper or accountant (Australia) to assist with a recently closed small beauty/spa business. My previous accountant registered the business for GST as we expected turnover to exceed the threshold, however total sales were approximately $40,000 before closure, and the business has now ceased trading. I need assistance with: • preparing and lodging the final BAS • calculating GST payable and GST credits from business expenses • assisting with GST cancellation • assisting with ABN / business closure requirements if needed • preparing and lodging outstanding sole trader tax return(s) • calculating any income tax owing, as no tax has yet been paid • advising on any ATO debt and payment plan options • if possible, setting up a new business in Xero for my new venture I do not currently have an expenses or spending spreadsheet prepared, so I need someone who can help work from: • bank statements • merchant / EFTPOS statements • invoices • receipts • booking platform reports to reconcile income and expenses and prepare the required lodgements. Business type: beauty / spa / Japanese head spa services Location: Australia (remote is perfectly fine) Please only apply if experienced with Australian BAS, GST, sole trader tax returns, and small business bookkeeping. I would really appreciate someone patient who can guide me through what documents are needed, as I’m currently unsure of the exact expense totals. Fixed quote preferred.
