I need someone to prepare and lodge the 2024 tax return for a small (3 person) company. The work will involve: Reconciling BAS's and wages Getting info from Xero Working with me to complete the R&D rebate schedule Lodging the return electronically. Produce annaual accounts BAS's have been completed on a cash basis but the return is done on an acrual basis so there is some extra work to be done there together with a BAS adjustment. There will be other ongoing and future work, but this is the urgent one for now. Happy to discuss requirements and costs with the right person. Looking for someone that we can develop a relationship with for the ongoing tax returns. I need someone I can talk to and not be lost in a big corporate production line.

I need an experienced bookkeeper and registered tax agent to urgently review and organize my business finances for the past 3 years as a sole trader, and lodge the tax returns to avoid any issues with the ATO. Details: Scope: Last 1.5 years: all transactions are in Xero. Prior 1.5 years: records are primarily business account bank statements. Your role: Review all provided documents. Categorize income and expenses accurately. Reconcile accounts as needed. Prepare the books ready for tax lodgment. Lodge the tax return with the ATO as a registered tax agent. I will provide all bank statements and Xero access. Experience with small business bookkeeping, Xero, and tax lodgment for sole traders is essential. Must work quickly and efficiently — time-sensitive task. Requirements: Prior bookkeeping experience (especially sole traders). Familiarity with Xero. Registered tax agent. Can start immediately and deliver results in reasonable timeframe. Deliverables: Organized, reconciled accounts for 3 years. Clear summary of income and expenses. Lodged tax return for all 3 years with the ATO. Important: Include in your offer how long this will take you and when you can deliver. Confirm your registration as a tax agent and availability to start. Preferably located in NSW but if it can be done remotely that is fine.
