Hello, I’m looking for a reliable and experienced bookkeeper (around $30 per hour) and a registered tax agent to assist with my accounts. I use Xero, and all of my bookkeeping entries are up to date. I require assistance to: * Review and tidy up my bookkeeping. * Check and, if necessary, amend my 2023–2024 tax return. * Prepare and lodge my 2025–2026 tax returns and any related obligations. * Provide ongoing bookkeeping and taxation support. My business operates under the Millar-Wise Worldwide Trust, trading as Oceans of Love and VMW Worldwide Designs, so experience with trusts and Australian taxation would be highly regarded. The most important quality I’m looking for is reliability and communication. Unfortunately, I’ve had disappointing experiences with previous accountants. One failed to respond to messages and repeatedly promised work would be completed without following through. More recently, an accountant I engaged through a referral has repeatedly scheduled appointments and then failed to attend. I’m looking for someone who is professional, communicates openly, keeps their commitments, and is interested in building a long-term working relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
