Hi, My name is Josh and I run a construction business based in Thornleigh, NSW. I need an experienced accountant or firm to urgently take over and bring all personal and business tax affairs fully up to date. ⸻ Current Situation * 3 years of personal tax returns outstanding * 1 year of company tax return outstanding * BAS obligations are also behind * Business bookkeeping requires full catch-up and reconciliation * Financials are required urgently for legal purposes (lawyer engagement in progress) ⸻ Scope of Work * Full review and reconciliation of 3 years of records * Reconcile business accounts and transactions * Prepare and lodge all overdue personal tax returns * Prepare and lodge overdue company tax return * Prepare and lodge outstanding BAS * Provide full summary of financial position and liabilities ⸻ ATO Support (Essential) * Manage ATO communication * Set up structured payment plans for any outstanding tax debt * Negotiate arrangements where required * Ensure ongoing compliance while in arrears ⸻ Ongoing Work * BAS lodgements and compliance * Tax planning (business + personal) * Bookkeeping oversight or coordination * Setup of systems to prevent future backlog ⸻ Requirements * CPA / CA / registered BAS agent * Strong experience with ATO arrears and catch-up work * Experience with small business (construction preferred) * Must be able to take control and act quickly * Clear communication and responsiveness ⸻ Timeframe & Pricing This is urgent.
