Need a portable basketball hoop assembled for my daughter - it's a Goaliath GoTek 54" system (Model B8301), acrylic backboard, 3-section telescoping pole, weighted rolling base. Still boxed/unopened, ready to build in the driveway. Good to know before you quote: - Manual is 42 steps, fairly involved - X-frame backboard, breakaway rim, dual-spring height adjustment. - The base needs to be filled with ~25 gallons (95L) of water once positioned, plus ~1 gallon in each wheel - hose access is on site. - I'll be on-site and able to help with the couple of two-person steps the manufacturer calls for (tilting the pole assembly to attach the backboard, and standing the unit upright at the end), so this can be done without you needing to bring a helper. - Please bring your own tools: ratchet + 10mm/13mm/16mm/19mm sockets, Phillips screwdriver, rubber mallet. Happy with Friday or Saturday - whichever suits first.

Our free standing, full sized basketball hoop still gets used. However I have noticed severe erosion at the base of the pole. To the point I believe it will now be dangerous. If you know how to reinforce it so it can still be safely used - great. But if it’s beyond repair I would like it removed from our back yard. Before it gets wobbly and falls on someone.
