My wedding dress is heavy and the straps are cutting into my shoulders. I’ve had someone try and alter it a few times but the issue still isn’t fixed. I’m due to pick the dress up Wednesday morning. If the issue still isn’t fixed is there any chance of getting an urgent alteration? I head away for my wedding on 20 October so it would need to be ready well before then. Thank you!

I am looking for an experienced dressmaker to make simple alterations to my wedding dress. I would like a button loop for the train, the length adjusted slightly, and my spaghetti straps reinforced (it is a size 8, heavy lace streamline dress with thin straps, and a front split). Ignore the task date- My wedding is in May 2021 so I’d like to find a dressmaker who’s available in February/March 2021 to ensure the dress fits my body at the time.
