Most of the alterations are fairly straightforward, for example: - shortening dresses, trousers or tops - changing long sleeves to short sleeves - shortening jeans while keeping the original hem - other simple adjustments as needed I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys sewing, perhaps sews from home or does alterations privately, and offers reasonable rates compared with commercial alteration shops. Good attention to detail and a neat finish are important to me, and if things work well there would likely be more items from time to time. I’m happy to bring the clothes to you if you’re reasonably close to Lutwyche. I have an old scout blanket, I would like to replace the old blanket. I have purchased the new blanket, I would like the old badges sewn onto the new blanket. There are around 60 -80 badges. All shapes and sizes. This has enormous sentimental value for me. I am away for work during the week... So it can either be picked up during the week or I could drop it off on the weekend.. I’m looking for someone who’s a bit of a fabric-cutting and sewing wizard to help bring an idea I have for some seat covers to life! I’ve already got the vision in my head and know exactly what fabric I want, I just need someone with the skills to cut, sew and turn the idea into the finished product! The job will involve: • Cutting fabric accurately to suit the seats • Sewing and finishing everything neatly • Adding a couple of zips • Attaching some elastic and clips/fasteners • Helping work out the best way to construct it so it looks great and functions properly I’m definitely not a sewing expert, so I’d likely need to meet you in person or have a video chat first so I can physically show you what I’m trying to achieve rather than completely confusing you with my explanation! 😂 If you’re confident with a sewing machine, zips, elastic and custom fabric work, and enjoy bringing someone’s slightly random vision to life; I’d love to hear from you!

I need someone to sew small labels onto towels. I have 2 bags of towels to get through. It doesn’t need to be perfect — just secure enough to stay on after washing. You’ll need to know how to use a sewing machine. Approx 1 hour to get as much done as you can and if it takes longer, happy to pay the extra amount
