Two pairs of ladies trousers, size 6, to have hemline taken up. Straightforward job to have both pairs of trouser legs sewn. Trousers are measured and pinned ready to go. Items can be dropped off and picked up from local address.

My daughters dress for a family social event has a very thick hem under the dress and expresses discomfort when trying it on. It fits perfectly but yeah communicated it's uncomfortable around the skirt part as pictured. Can anyone do a silk or padded underlay hemming to fix that? It's a size 2, kids dress. Small.

Thinking of getting a Rhino Rack rooftop canvas bag and want that cut in half to make two bags out of it. Bag is 1600x1100, want two bags approx 800x1100. No need for zipper, maybe drawstring. Brisbane or Sunshine Coast area.

The sewing machine is two years old. It is a small, basic Singer brand. No problems till it started skipping stitches - will do a couple of stitches correctly then skip the rest. I changed the needle but it did not help. Would be good to have it serviced while skipping stitches issue is resolved. The job is in Toowong.

I'm trying to make a dress that fits me well, and I have a narrow chest and a full bust. I'm struggling to get it right. I need someone who can (help me) make a sloper/toile with all the right measurements and adjustments. I can come to you, or you to me (Cashmere, Brisbane northside).

I have fabric and I need 3 stips 100mm wide approximately 5 metres long. I need the strips cut and hemmed on along all 4 edges to make it look need. Then I need a bit of velcro or some sort of fixing (we can discuss and I'll provide it) on each end so they wrap around something and each end can connect. Pretty basic job if you can sew straght over a long length of fabric.

Looking for an experienced Lycra / stretch fabric sewer. Ideally has their own over locker and coverstitch machine. If not can use my machines if required at Forestdale. Requiring three scarves to be cut in half and so down the cut sides. The scarves are silk and the cup side is 1.7 m.

3 favourite pairs of shorts that require new buttons sewn on and a bag that needs a zip repair ,zip still works stiching is a little loose . Shorts are the important task can drop off .
