I recently started with a company looking after their Facebook pages etc, and they have just asked me to help update/clean up their website. Now I’m pretty tech savvy and pick up on things quite quickly but I have never used Wordpress before. I’ve had a quick look and it hasn’t been updated in quite sometime and I think it looks a little messy on the backend. I’m just after someone that can spend a couple of hours with me, show me briefly how it works, my way around, tips, tricks etc so I can then walk away and do it myself. It is quite a basic website. Hi, Our current website is an Adobe BC based site and due to the impending end of life of BC we require it to be re-built on the wordpress platform, while we're at it, we wish to make a few small changes, i.e removing no longer relevant pages (appox 6) and re-adding 2 with different information/products offerings, and changing our contact form a little. One of our main concerns is in minimising the impact on google rankings after the change over. The site will need to have SEO features moved across and potentially updating/adding more. We will also require to be able to make changes to the site - e.g photo galleries, page content alterations so a WordPress handover is likely required.
