Housekeeper I’m looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented housekeeper / mother’s helper to help keep our home running smoothly. We’re a busy family, so I’m hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys creating a clean, organised, calm home environment and takes pride in the little details. The role will start at 2–3 days per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time (5 days per week) position when we move to Dalkeith. Tasks will include: • Changing bed linens • Ironing and wardrobe upkeep • General cleaning, tidying, and organisation • Helping keep the home running smoothly day-to-day I’m looking for someone who is: • Naturally organised and detail-oriented (and a bit particular in the best way) • Proactive and able to take initiative • Reliable, trustworthy, and efficient • Warm and family-friendly — a mum or someone used to running a home would be perfect Honestly, I’m looking for an extra pair of hands — someone who treats the home like their own and notices what needs doing without being asked. We are looking for 2x weekly house help: one time per week for cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms. There are two bathrooms. Looking for an experienced organiser and cleaner to help get my home ready for an upcoming rent inspection. The house is currently half unpacked, and with working full time while managing a chronic pain condition, I have not been able to get everything finished on my own. I have already made a start, and I am looking for someone who can look at what has been done so far, work out what still needs attention, and help get the house over the line. The property is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with two living areas. Tasks include unpacking remaining boxes, putting items away in sensible places, tidying and organising rooms, clearing and resetting surfaces, wiping down benches and other surfaces, cleaning the kitchen and both bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, and helping bring the whole house up to a neat and inspection ready standard. This is not a full bond clean, though I do need someone who is confident with both organising and general house cleaning. Outdoor areas also need attention, including sweeping leaves and sand from the front and back patio areas and giving those areas a general tidy. I will be working from home on the day, and my son will be available to assist and give direction between 9.30 am and 3.00 pm, so availability during this window is ideal. I am looking for someone who is experienced, efficient, practical, and able to take initiative without needing constant direction. Please bring your own cleaning products and equipment. Please include a brief summary of your experience with similar organising and pre inspection cleaning work, along with your availability. Happy to answer any questions before assigning the task.
