Ongoing Weekly Housekeeper – 3 Hours/Week We’re looking for a reliable, proactive housekeeper to come to our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home once a week for approximately 3 hours and help with a general weekly “house reset”. We’re specifically looking for a housekeeper rather than just a cleaner. Cleaning is part of the job, but we’d also love someone who can help us stay on top of the household, keep things organised and use their initiative. A typical weekly visit might include: * Changing bed sheets and making beds * Folding and putting away clean laundry * Cleaning the kitchen * Cleaning the bathrooms * General tidying and putting things back where they belong These would generally be the priority for the weekly reset. If there’s time left over, we’d love for the remaining time to go towards an organisation job that needs attention that week, such as reorganising our daughter’s toys, tidying a wardrobe, organising the linen cupboard, cleaning out the pantry or tackling a cupboard that has become chaotic. We definitely don’t expect all of these things to be done every week! The organisation jobs are more of a rotating “what needs attention this week?” situation. The biggest thing we’re looking for is initiative. We’d love someone who gets to know our home over time, notices what needs doing and is comfortable using their judgement about what would be most helpful rather than needing a detailed checklist each week. We also have a dog, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in a home with pets (happy to have her in the backyard during your visit) Ideally we’d love to find the same person to come every week on an ongoing basis and become familiar with our home and routine. I need help with: 🧊 Fridge: Clean out expired food, wash dishes/containers from inside, wipe shelves/interior and put food back. I’ll also have a grocery order delivered while you’re here, so help unpacking/putting groceries into the fridge would be wonderful. 🍽️ Dishes: Wash the dishes in the sink (I can put them away). The sink height is difficult for my lower back. 🧺 Laundry: A few loads washed and hung out. The basket and wet clothes are currently too heavy for me to safely lift/reach into the machine. hello I am advocating for a very sick lady in a motel. she needs someone to unpack her car into her motel room. she then needs someone to take it to a car cash or wash n the spot at the motel and vacuum it with their own vacuum or car wash vacuum. then there is a third job to sort everything into two piles one for the removalist to take and pack and one for belonging to go onto a plane so packing her suitcases for her.
