I’m getting married in February and will be getting ready at home with four bridesmaids, family and professional hair and makeup artists. Before then I’m also hosting my bridal shower and another event in my backyard. I need help planning how to rearrange my existing furniture, declutter/store things temporarily, create a functional bridal getting-ready area and work out the best layout for the backyard events. I’m not looking for a full interior redesign — mainly space planning and practical styling using as much of my existing furniture as possible.

Hi all, I am looking for a reliable and friendly female helper to assist with household tasks in my unit in Double Bay. This role may suit a mature lady, university student, or working holiday visa holder looking for regular part-time work. The tasks include: General cleaning: cleaning the kitchen, including benchtops, stoves, floors and cabinets; washing dishes and pots; cleaning bathrooms; vacuuming and mopping the living and dining areas. Tidying: keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy and organised. Food preparation and cooking: washing vegetables, cutting fruit, preparing/marinating food and some cooking. Experience cooking Vietnamese or other Asian food would be highly regarded. Laundry: putting clothes into the washing machine or dryer, hanging clothes and folding clean laundry. It will be 1-2 days a week, around 4-5 hours each time. The hours will be in the period from 9am -5pm on Mondays and 10.30-5.30pm on Fridays. Please note that the working days will be on either Monday and Friday only. Hourly rate $25/hour. Bathroom 2: There's a fair bit of stuff on the surfaces and shelves. Needs sorting and rearranging first, then a full clean. This one is the priority of the two. Kitchen: Cooktop degreased including the removable parts. Benchtop. Floor. The kitchen is small and tight, only about 3 people can stand in it, so the floor area is minimal. Oven interior not needed. Clothes: A full wardrobe's worth to be categorised and folded. This is a real chunk of the job, not an afterthought, so please factor it into your price . Bring your own products and equipment, including a degreaser for the cooktop and something that will shift soap scum off shower tiles. The budget shown is a guide only. Also need folding of sheets and towels and put on beds and away in linen cupboard and clothes and proper cleaning including kitchens bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning all hard surfaces. Here's what we're after each week: **Master bedroom** — General clean, vacuum, mop, dust, and change sheets. **Ensuite** — vacuum, mop, clean shower and toilet, and wipe down the 2 basins.
