[About Me] I’m a native Korean speaker based in Melbourne, originally from Seoul. I recently graduated from ‘Kyung Hee University’ with a double major in Theatre Direction and Sociology. Year 10 English (NSW curriculum) tutor required to do weekly lessons around 1 hour per session once a week. Should be able to mark essays, give feedback, and help with foundational analytical skills. I’m currently undertaking a PhD in Physics at the University of Melbourne, while working part-time in computing/IT and as a Physics tutor and lab demonstrator at the University. I was home-schooled for five years before completing my final three years at Melbourne High School, achieving strong VCE results in English, Mathematics, Physics, and IT. I then completed both a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Physics, with additional Maths, IT, and Creative Writing subjects) and a Master’s Degree in Physics at the University of Melbourne. Students learn in different ways, so I adapt my teaching to suit each individual. Having had an unorthodox education, I offer a different perspective and can provide tailored strategies and alternative methods to help students better understand difficult material. Where needed, I can also consult with academic staff and peers on more challenging topics.
