Salary: [Hourly wage or salary range + Super] About the Role: We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and personable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a solid understanding of drink preparation, and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests. You will be responsible for mixing drinks, serving customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the bar runs smoothly during your shift. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Interact with guests in a friendly and engaging manner, taking orders and offering drink suggestions. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including tools, equipment, and workstations. Handle cash, EFTPOS, and POS transactions accurately. Ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) requirements. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed. Clean glassware and utensils, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to support overall bar and venue operations. Manage bar opening and closing duties when required. Key Requirements: Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role (minimum 6–12 months preferred). A valid RSA certificate (essential). Knowledge of drink recipes, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail techniques. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Desirable: Barista or coffee-making experience. Wine knowledge or barista training certification. Experience working in fast-paced bars, pubs, clubs, or hotel venues.
