We are selling two private properties in Townsville but currently live in Sydney, so travelling up for every open home is becoming extremely expensive with flights, accommodation, time off work and other costs. We are looking for a reliable, well-presented person local to Townsville to simply attend and host occasional open homes on our behalf on Saturdays. This is NOT a sales role and no real estate experience is required. The job mainly involves: - Arriving 10–15 minutes early - Opening the house for inspections - Greeting people as they arrive - Collecting visitor names and phone numbers - Letting people walk through the property - Locking up afterwards - Sending us the contact details and a quick summary of attendance The homes are already listed online and enquiries are already being managed by us. We simply need someone local to physically open the homes and be present during inspections. Requirements: - Reliable and punctual - Friendly and presentable - Comfortable speaking to people - Able to take basic contact details - Must have a phone and transport Ideal for: - Semi-retired locals - Students - Stay-at-home parents - Anyone wanting easy weekend side work We will be in Townsville this weekend and are happy to meet in person beforehand. The next inspections are this Saturday only, approximately 1 hour per property. Looking someone who has eyes & experience to check details and defects, and someone with real estate or property inspection background is a plus point.
