I’m currently undertaking a PhD in Physics at the University of Melbourne, while working part-time in computing/IT and as a Physics tutor and lab demonstrator at the University. I was home-schooled for five years before completing my final three years at Melbourne High School, achieving strong VCE results in English, Mathematics, Physics, and IT. I then completed both a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Physics, with additional Maths, IT, and Creative Writing subjects) and a Master’s Degree in Physics at the University of Melbourne. Students learn in different ways, so I adapt my teaching to suit each individual. Having had an unorthodox education, I offer a different perspective and can provide tailored strategies and alternative methods to help students better understand difficult material. Where needed, I can also consult with academic staff and peers on more challenging topics. I have around 10 years of experience as a private tutor, as well as experience teaching at the University of Melbourne. I’ve worked with students of all backgrounds and levels, helping in Physics, Maths, English/English Literature, and even Medicine/Biomedical studies. I offer support for Years 7–12 (VCE) in Maths (General/Further, Methods, Specialist), English, and Science/Physics, as well as University-level Physics and Maths.
