We need a personal chef who has experience cooking both meat and vegetarian meals to prepare meals once or twice every second week in bulk. Ideally on Sunday or Mondays and then again on Thursdays if possible. Once a week is also an option if that is preferred. Meals will include dishes such as lasagne (meat and vegetarian), pasta, gnocchi, snacks for lunchboxes/ muffins, vegetables, stirfrys etc as examples. Perhaps 4 to 6 mains meals and 2 sets of snacks. We will provide all ingredients once a menu has been discussed with you. You are welcome to use our kitchen to cook the meals.

We are looking for a chef to cook for our backyard wedding on Saturday 25th October, the festivities start from 2PM and end 9PM in New Gisborne. This will be a small and intimate “signing day” celebration with family and friends before our larger wedding overseas. We want someone who can prepare and serve a relaxed but memorable meal for a small group in a backyard setting. It doesn’t need to be fine dining, just fresh, tasty food that suits a casual celebration.We are looking for a blend of European/Western + Indian style catering. That's a preference not a absolute requirement. What we need: Plan and cook a menu suitable for around 15-18 Prepare dishes onsite (Our kitchen + additional backyard space available for you) Provide a mix of canapés/finger food for the afternoon and a sit-down style dinner in the evening Clean up kitchen/food prep area at the end of service Details: Date: Saturday 25th October Time: 12PM to 9PM Location: Private backyard, New Gisborne Paid opportunity (budget suited to a private chef or budding caterer, not large catering companies) This role would suit an independent chef or someone wanting to gain experience in private event catering.
