Description: I'm looking for a reliable and friendly helper to assist with hosting a dinner for approximately 10 guests at my apartment in Darling Point this Friday evening. Time: Friday, approximately 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm (4 hours). Tasks include: General cleaning and tidying before guests arrive. Setting the dining table for 10 people. Preparing serving platters, dips, desserts and fruit platter. Assisting with simple food preparation (rice, roasted potatoes, heating soup). Organising drinks and ice. Keeping the kitchen clean during the evening. Clearing plates and glasses throughout dinner. Loading and unloading the dishwasher. Washing dishes and packing away leftovers. Cleaning the kitchen and dining area after dinner. Taking out rubbish and leaving the apartment clean and tidy. Requirements: Previous hospitality or event experience preferred. Attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Comfortable working independently. Reliable and punctual. I'm looking for a florist or flower stylist to source flowers from Sydney Flower Market and create wedding flowers either the day before or the morning of a wedding. The style the couple is after is colourful, playful and modern, with a relaxed garden-party feel. Think bright seasonal blooms, single-stem bridesmaid flowers, and simple bud-vase table arrangements rather than traditional formal wedding florals. Bridal party: - 5 small bridesmaids bouquets (each made up of an individual or single stem of a coloured flower that matches their dress with matching ribbon that will be provided) - 1 brides bouquet (made up of a mix of the bridesmaids colours and any other flower that works well in the bouquet with a long white ribbon) - 5 groomsmen boutonniere (can be either a mix of the bridesmaids ones or individual colours similar to the bridesmaids) - 1 grooms boutonniere (matching the brides bouquet or a different flower that’s in the brides bouquet only) Table decor: - Coloured posey’s/flowers from the bridesmaid bouquets arranged in glass jars - very minimal styling and minimal flowers needed. We can provide the jars laid on the table, ready for the florist to style. Arbour: - Arbour will have white fabric draped over it. - Small collection of coloured flowers on one top corner of the arbour like the images. What’s needed: - Choosing flowers from the flower market matching the brief. - Note: if the colours for the bridesmaids can’t be found on the day, please change them to all-white bouquets and make the bride’s bouquets more colourful, matching the flowers/styling for the arbour and tables. - Bump in: Arranging bouquets, boutonnieres, arbour flowers, and table flowers - No bump out needed Please send through: - Examples/photos of your work - A quote - Any questions you may have Looking for someone creative, reliable and confident working with fresh seasonal flowers to help bring this vision to life.
