I need an experienced handyman for quick end-of-lease touch-ups at a ground-floor apartment in Drummoyne. This is straightforward work for someone who knows rental inspections. Property is empty. THE JOB: 1) WALL MARKS & CHIPS: - Carefully remove 2 remaining sticky hooks (avoid further paint tear). - Clean adhesive residue/ghosting where hooks were previously removed. - Patch & paint 2 small existing chips (approx 1cm each). Must apply two coats of paint for a seamless blend. 2) DOOR FRAME CHIP: - Patch & paint 1 small chip on white timber trim (two coats of paint). 3) Floors (2 Bedrooms): - Colour-match and fill ~8–10 small chips/dents in light oak laminate flooring using wax filler/touch-up markers. - Goal is inspection-ready visual blend (not structural floor repair). 4) SLIDING DOOR TRACK: - Quick vacuum & wipe of the lounge sliding door track to remove dust/debris. 5) LIGHT BULBS: - Replace 2 globes in the lounge wall light. Bulb type TBC (I’ll confirm once agent advises). WHAT I NEED: - BYO materials: Please bring filler, sandpaper, white paint (sample pots for wall + trim), floor repair wax/markers, cloths/basic cleaner, and a small step ladder. Include material costs in your quote. - Experience: Must have done rental/end-of-lease touch-ups and know what “invisible/inspection standard” means. - Time: Estimated 2–4 hours to allow for drying time between coats. Important: - Ground floor, easy access. - Free street parking or undercover parking outside the unit (height restriction 6’3.5”). - Must be finished before or by Thu 8th Jan 4pm. - Quote must be final & all-inclusive (no surprise charges). Description: I’m renovating a bathroom and need a licensed plumber ASAP to complete several plumbing tasks. I need a qualified structural engineer to undertake a focused inspection on the flooring of a room in an old building. The property is for sale and I need information on how to remediate and an idea of the cost of repair. I don't think this is a straightforward case of simply replacing old floorboards due to the lack of subfloor clearance. It could be the flooring needs replacing with concrete since it appears there is very little clearance between floorboards and ground level. Hence structural engineer and not builder request.

This is exactly what needs to be delivered: 1. Tree details: a. Details of each tree proposed for retention and removal from the subject site adjacent to the proposed works (as well as those shown on the adjoining properties) including: Its species, height and trunk circumference (measured at 1 metre above the ground in accordance with the permit trigger under the Significant Landscape Overlay - Schedule 4) Tree Protection Zone (TPZ) and Structural Root Zone (SRZ) Safe useful life expectancy a. Looking for a licensed electrician to install a 5kg ceiling fan in an apartment with an MF (Metal Furring) suspended plasterboard ceiling beneath a concrete slab. Provide quote. Key Requirements: Structural Anchoring: The fan must be securely anchored into the concrete slab above the plasterboard using appropriate masonry anchors. Support System: There is a ~20-30cm void between the slab and plasterboard. A suitable support solution is needed to ensure stability and prevent vibration against the plasterboard. The drain in my kitchen sink (in my apartment) is blocked. I have already tried the basic stuff and can confirm that its blocked inside the wall/floor as the water is getting through fine underneath the sink. So it might need some sort of garbage extracter/drain unblocker wire. Pretty straightforward job if you have the right tools. Need to be done ASAP. Attached images show the complete system, including pipes underneath sink and the pipe that goes into the floor.
