Interested in building a deck with verandah in the backyard. Deck will be 4000mm x 3250mm and 180mm high. Roof will be 3130mm high from the ground and attached to first floor balcony. Roof will be solid, ideally with a clear skylight in a couple positions to allow for light to pass through. I have already lodged and paid for a planning permit application with Kingston Council; however they have returned with a list of demands that would be better fulfilled by a qualified person (e.g. elevation diagrams, shadow diagrams).

Looking for a fully licensed and insured contractor to renovate two bathrooms (ensuite and main) in an apartment. Owner will supply tiles. All plumbing and electrical rough-in works are complete. Scope of Work: • Render and prepare all walls and floors to ceiling height, including Gyprock walls (highlighted in yellow)in wet areas • Waterproof all wet area walls and floors, including Gyprock walls, in accordance with AS 3740 and NSW regulations, and provide compliance certificate • Install owner-supplied floor and wall tiles full height to ceiling, including over Gyprock walls • Supply and install moisture-resistant gyprock ceiling and non-wet-area walls, set, flush, and sand ready for painting (painting excluded) • Coordinate tiling, waterproofing, and ceiling/wall works for a clean finish Materials & Requirements: • Contractor supplies all materials except tiles (adhesive, grout, waterproof membrane, angles, sand, cement) • Must be fully licensed and insured • Experience in apartment bathroom renovations preferred • Must provide waterproofing / compliance certificate upon completion
