Hey! I’m looking for someone handy and practical to help me build a simple, foldable bed base in the back of my Hyundai IX35 for car camping. What I’m after: • A basic, structurally sound bed base that fits the back of my IX35 • Made from timber/plywood (nothing fancy) • Designed to fold up into itself using hinges, so it’s easy to pack away when not in use • Height needs to be practical for storage underneath, but not overly tall • Smooth, safe edges (doesn’t need to be aesthetic or built-in cabinetry) Extras (optional / future-proofing): • I’m interested in eventually adding a pull-out table or slide-out surface at the back • The table doesn’t need to be built this time, but I’d love the design to allow space for one later if possible Notes: • I’m very open to discussing the design and logistics together • This doesn’t need to be a professional camper conversion — just functional, sturdy, and manageable • Happy to chat about materials, measurements, cost, and timeline If you’ve built car setups, bed bases, or enjoy practical woodworking projects, I’d love to hear from you 😊

We have installed solar systems on a duplex property, with separate systems for each dwelling, both located on the same building and roof. Property 1: 13 kW solar system with an Enphase microinverter system. Property 2: 13 kW solar system with a Solis grid-tied inverter. We have replaced the Solis inverter multiple times, however the system goes offline again after firmware updates are applied by the Solis team. Additionally, the owner of the Enphase system has reported that during heavy rain the system went offline, and they heard a sound similar to a short circuit or electrical fault. Given these issues, we need a qualified electrician to carry out a full inspection of: AC and DC electrical connections Roof isolators and junctions Inverter wiring and earthing any short circuit or any other issues The goal is to identify the root cause and rectify any electrical or installation issues affecting both properties. Both systems are installed on the same roof, so coordination is required to inspect and resolve issues for both dwellings.

Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced home theatre / AV technician to help troubleshoot and fix my sound system. I have an older Pioneer AV receiver connected to an Epson projector. The system has 6 speakers connected (surround setup). The issue is that there is no audio output, even when using HDMI and even when we tested it with a TV. We’ve tried basic troubleshooting (changing cables, power cycling, different HDMI connections), but it still doesn’t work. The receiver is also behaving strangely and may not be responding properly (possibly not turning off correctly). I’m not sure if it’s a settings issue, wiring issue, or if the receiver is faulty. I’d prefer someone to diagnose it properly and get it working again if possible, rather than replacing it immediately. What I need done • Diagnose why there is no sound through the receiver • Check speaker wiring / correct speaker channels • Confirm correct input/output settings on receiver • Test HDMI audio path and confirm whether an HDMI audio extractor is needed • If the receiver is faulty, advise the best replacement option Current Setup • Pioneer AV Receiver (older model – model number unknown) • Epson Projector (not 4K) • 6 speakers connected • HDMI in/out used for video, receiver used for sound Ideal outcome Get the system working again with: ✅ Video to projector ✅ Audio through all speakers ✅ Minimal extra equipment if possible Location / Notes Happy for someone to come onsite and bring any testing equipment/cables if needed.
