One timber stair tread (bottom step) has developed front-edge movement. When stepped on near the edge it makes a clunking / hollow sound and shifts slightly. There is no access from underneath. This is not cosmetic – the tread needs to be structurally re-secured. What’s required: Re-bond tread to riser using construction adhesive (polyurethane or MS polymer) Mechanically secure tread to riser (screws, not nails) Clamp / weight while curing Plug / fill screw holes and tidy finish The side of the tread is lightly rubbing the wall due to movement – this should stop once fixed. Important notes Timber stairs (existing finish to be preserved) No underside access Do not want caulking, foam, or cosmetic-only solutions Who this suits Experienced carpenter or stair repair specialist (Not a general handyman unless experienced with timber stairs)

Approx 1.5m gutter and fascia repair/replace. Fascia is rotted, I don’t think gutter has any holes. Gutter in rear was cut to give access to a 90mm plastic pipe. They bogged or siliconed around it at some stage (see pics) and that has come off. It’s on second floor so tall ladder needed. Water comes out from back rear of gutter cut out. I would like someone who knows what they are doing and repair this so it doesn’t leak again, also repair or replace the fascia . Maybe screw in some screws from gutter to facia so all nice and tight then silicone gaps then water proof all the back of the gutter and where the cut out is and under the pipe that comes into the gutter from the rear. Not sure if wood profile can be found to replace the facia? Maybe you can builders bog it well then I will repaint the fascia. Gutter height is approx 5.5m from the ground, this gutter is about 1.5m long but only one side seems like it has the issue but inspect and rectify the other side if needed in the same manner ( fascia on other side is ok). Other side is of the other townhouse I’m connected to. I don’t have a ladder that height so you would need to have one. photos of inside the gutter and external location are attached so you are aware of what I’m talking about. I am looking for an experienced tradesperson or handyman to repair/replace three wooden doors on an outdoor barbecue unit. The cabinets have been exposed to the elements so I am looking for a repair that will hold up against the weather. Also, the work must only be done on weekends. There are three doors to be fixed: Right Door (Storage): Full repair of the storage door. Middle Door (Storage): Repair/alignment of the middle storage compartment door. Left Door: Repair of the door covering the gas canister area. Specific Issues: - The wooden frames appear to have weathered or warped. - Some panels are missing or detached (see photos). - Existing hinges and latches likely need replacing with heavy-duty, rust-proof alternatives.
