Job Description: I am looking for a reliable, multi-skilled handyman or junior carpenter to complete several upgrades in my 2-bedroom apartment in Dublin 2. I have already purchased all materials (laminate flooring, skirting boards, locks, and wood for the console). You only need to provide your own professional tools and labor. The Task List: Flooring: Install laminate flooring in [Insert Room Name Skirting boards throughout (mitre cuts for corners required). Carpentry: Wall-mount and console table and one TV unit/slab. General Maintenance: Fix/tighten loose door locks and kitchen cupboard hinges. Electrical: light fittings (simple swaps). Timeline: I expect this to take roughly 1.5 to 2 days. I am looking for someone who can work efficiently to complete the list within this timeframe. Requirements: Must have your own saw and drill Previous experience with laminate flooring is essential. Clean worker who will respect a residential apartment. Budget: I am offering €350 for the total labor for this project. Location: Dublin 2

Hi, I’m looking for a carpenter/joiner for a stair upgrade in my home. I currently have a standard timber staircase with spindles, and I’d like to modernise it by: • Removing the existing spindles • Extending or replacing the newel posts to bring the balustrade up to current height regulations • Reinstalling/adjusting the handrail at the correct height • Installing glass panels between the posts (instead of spindles) The staircase has multiple sections (lower flight, landing, and upper flight), so there will be several glass panels required. I would also like help with: • Taking accurate measurements for the glass panels • Advising on the correct specification (toughened/laminated safety glass, thickness, fixings, etc.) • Confirming the order before I purchase the glass online I can supply photos and measurements, or you can call out to assess.
