Hi all, Looking for a carpenter/handy man who can help us renovate our front lounge room into an office/library setting. Will need shelves to be installed onto the walls.

I need someone to help make and install a shelf into my linen press. The walls inside are brick.

Scope includes: – Install 3x laundry shelves (white melamine, all edges banded) – Adjust and fix cupboard (doors currently obstructed by carpet) – Install 1x towel hook (concealed fixing) – Wall-mount full-length mirror (~20kg) – Install 2x wall-mounted bike racks (SteadyRack) I will supply mirror, hook and bike racks. Hi - I need someone to install 12 steel pitch vertical wall strips onto a plaster and masonry wall (brackets and shelves will be mounted onto pitch strips after - see photo attached). The pitch strips need to be installed in 6 verticals 0.5m from floor, so they will reach 3m up the wall (i.e. each vertical is 2.5m). There are 12 strips in total 6 x 2m, 6 x 0.5m. We are painting the room this week so need quick installation Tuesday evening prior to painters coming in (there is a small amount of flexibility with timing). Steel strips, screws and plugs provided. Room has been cleared of furniture. BYO masonry drill and stepladder. Thanks!

We need to have one simple, sturdy timber shelf (approx. 162cm x 47cm) installed across the length of one empty built-in wardrobe (see examples). Ideally someone with experience with carpentry/joinery/cabinetry. The shelf needs be extremely secure and able to bear a lot of weight, as we will be installing a hanging rod underneath for clothing. The shelf should also be sturdy enough to hold storage above, perhaps resting on cleats. We think there may be some studs and electrical wires behind the plaster. You may need to cut into the plaster and install additional reinforcement. We will paint the wardrobe ourselves afterwards.
