We need to have one simple, sturdy timber shelf (approx. 162cm x 47cm) installed across the length of one empty built-in wardrobe (see examples). Ideally someone with experience with carpentry/joinery/cabinetry. The shelf needs be extremely secure and able to bear a lot of weight, as we will be installing a hanging rod underneath for clothing. The shelf should also be sturdy enough to hold storage above, perhaps resting on cleats. We think there may be some studs and electrical wires behind the plaster. We’ve had book shelves built and now need someone to install them either side of our fireplace (see pics). You will need to nearly carefully cut/remove the skirting, move shelves into place, adjust/level, fix them to the walls, add skirting back and fill any gaps. Shelves are big and heavy but there will be someone home to give you a hand with the lifting if necessary. Electrician has already terminated the power points. No painting required.
