Hi, we have a steam combination oven (Miele DGC 5080 ED/CL/AUS) which operates fine, except certain touch buttons are non-responsive. In particular, the buttons immediately to the right of the screen, and to a lesser extent, the buttons to the left of the screen. All other buttons work fine, as well as all the other high power circuits etc. I understand this usually indicates an issue with the control board, and the oven is usually repaired by replacing the control board. As we don't use the oven often, board replacement is expensive, and the fault appears to be relatively minor from the symptoms, we want to explore if REPAIRING the board (not replacing) is feasible. I'm expecting perhaps some issue with the two channels those buttons are on. Speedo circuit board in 300ZX soldered joints have to be resold it it's a long story I've done a lot of homework on this problem it's just one of these things with these cars I will remove the circuit board it is about 50 mm by 50 mm and we're all the usual stuff soldered to it I just need all the joints re soldered.. it's a common problem with these cars and it can be done in about an hour and a half - Due date: Flexible

I tried this myself and quickly realised I am not handy enough to get it done. I have the replacement piece, and solder wick if you need it. You will need a Soldering Iron as mine is rubbish. You need to remove the old faulty Mini USB component and replace it with a new one I will supply, I have a few spare I don't need after too. The Circuit board is from a Gaming Microphone, I'm happy to drop this off if you are around the Lane Cove 2066 area
