Total hours for role are to be negotiated, but expect it to be a multiple visits per week to support a family where one parent is seriously ill. Dust surfaces, clean mirrors and picture frames (as needed), tidy bedrooms. Deep clean of oven / fridge / extractor fans can be discussed as ad hoc. Washing clothes, linens and towels - ensuring that these are changed as needed. Additional task could include regular garden maintenance (mowing etc), including picking up after family dog.
