Are you studying abroad in Melbourne, or working here temporarily? Missing a furry companion or two? This might be the temporary job of your dreams. I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to study in Europe for a year, and I'm also very lucky to have two gorgeous cuddly cats. Unfortunately the two things don't go together. I am therefore seeking expressions of interest for long term cat care in your home. The term of care will be approximately one year from the end of April/beginning of May 2024. Please reach out even if you can only make 9 months work, this can be flexible. The basic scenario as I see it: I will pay for all food, litter, deworming treatments etc. etc., and pay you for love, care and a house for my cats to live in. I'm just exploring this as an option, so please let me know how much you think it would be appropriate for me to pay you EACH MONTH for your time. My expectation is that we will meet in person first to discuss, and that I can visit your home to make sure it is suitable for my boys. Mowgli and Ripley are great company; you will never be alone when they live with you! Mowgli loves lap time and watching you do everything with great curiosity. Ripley demands to be patted constantly, and he loves following Mowgli around. They sleep together, they eat together and they wrestle together. They are both approximately 3 years old with no health conditions, so looking after them is pretty easy. They are indoors only, but ideally you will have a balcony or other secure outdoor space so they can feel the wind in their fur. As I said, I'm exploring this as an option so I'm open to any questions or suggestions you might have to make this possible! Please reach out to discuss the job and quote your price per month.

Need cat boarding for 2 male desexed cats aged 3yrs from 31st Jan to the 6th March. They are friendly, been realised around children, don’t scratch furniture or people, don’t need too much attention as they have each although they are very affectionate. Naliyah is a friendly chill cat - looking for someone to take care of her for a month. Needs to able to collect her for pet sitting on Sunday/Monday 21/ 22nd of January. She is very easy going, affectionate 13 year old and spends majority of the day relaxing. Indoor cat. Although social with humans, she doesn’t get along well with other cats. We are looking at rehoming her, as we are relocating overseas - would be amazing if the pet sitter bonds with the cat to give them a forever home, or if they know someone in their circle that would love Naliyah as their own.
