I'm looking for an experienced Subaru mechanic to rebuild a EJ25 engine from a Forester XT. The car blew a head gasket. We have removed the engine and ordered all parts required. The heads have been rebuilt and the block halves faced. We have new pistons, rods, cranks and bearings to go in. I have experience rebuilding bike engines but not car. I am looking for someone who is either a professional mechanic or an experienced enthusiast to spend a day or two with me putting the long block together and getting it ready to reinstall in the car. We have a large garage space with workbench and all tools required. Happy to do any day of the week or time with a bit of notice. - Due date: Flexible

This 2009 Volvo XC60 T6 3 litre 6 cyl turbotbhas done about 160,000kms. I booked it in at the Volvo specialist to have the PC valve replaced for $600.00. I called to Sydney and paid my flatmate in Toowoomba to take it to the mechanic. Instead she stole my money and drive my car to Brisbane some 129ksvfrombwhere the car was. The car broke down so I've had it towed here Sydney. I loved this car so I want by to have it repaired in the cheapest way whether it be to repair the engine or replace it. I haven't tried to turn it over yet. I have the oil and jumper leads. A friend is coming tomorrow to try turning it over. I will let you know what we discover. I picked the budget arbitrarily I know it may well cost more.

Infiniti Q60 Engine Light on - took it to a mechanic after the car was sitting idol 3yrs he fixed it but after topping up the fuel tank it’s a little shaky and the engine light flashes Tried calling Infinti and they fully booked out but said it probably just needs new plugs or coils. I have a 2009 Volvo XC60 T6 3l turbo which stopped due to a PC valve needing repair and being driven. I don't know if the engine can be repaired or if a new engine is necessary. I out $2000 as price but obviously it will depend.

Install EngineGuard sensor to a Toyota Hiace Van. Some basic wiring and attaching a sensor to the tapper cover at the rear of the head. Plenty of videos online, just don’t have the time before a move interstate.
