Holden Captiva 2008 Diesel - everything runs fine until I turn the aircon. On low revs, especially on idle it makes a high pitch whining sound. As soon as I press the accelerator- the sound vanishes. I assume it has to do either with the idler pulley - the engine has developed a low rumbling sound on idle recently, or with the aircon motor. Looking for an experienced mechanic who knows what he’s doing - from what I’ve read this is a very common issue with these Captivas.
